Listened to something yesterday and a commentator said he thought history would deal with Teresa May a lot kinder and fairer than her self seeking colleagues have done.
As others have said, she has had to deal with an impossible situation that was neither of her making or her wish. She has been steadfast and has tried to maintain her path when others would have wimped out at the first chance, I admire her for that even though I don't agree with her.
I hope she is eventually offered a peerage, a) because it will rub it in to Blair and Cameron that they haven't been offered public recognition because they don't bloody deserve it and b) we have a shortage of people with moral courage in government, and although the House of Lords is in many ways an anachronism it does have a role to play in tempering the outright greed and self serving attitude of what appears to be the majority of the HOC.
And heaven help us all if the Tories select Boris . Or ReesMogg. Shudder. I am (and it is making me question my own sanity) leaning towards Gove in preference since there doesn't seem to be a woman in the running who is up to the job.
