To think there is a dead wasp stuck in a scone on the cover picture of the Tesco magazine?

Can anyone else see this? I have a copy of the free Tesco magazine- May 2019, picturing some scones. On the chopping board behind the plate one of the scones looks like it has some dead wasp body parts stuck inside. It is the scone bottom right on the pile, nearest the plate. Look closesly, I can see what looks like the striped abdomen of a dead wasp empedded in the scone, with another smaller body part to the left. I showed my OH and DD and they can see it too. AIBU? Or just too much time on my hands?

Ooh I'll have a look when I get home from work. Unless you can post a pic?

I am sure it is not a wasp- but it sure looks like a wasp ( or two) I can even make out the body shape and sting!

I think it's a bit of spring onion isn't it? The stripes are too fine for a wasp, surely? A bit of spring onion that's got a bit dried out during cooking would look just like that.

Yes I see the second "body part" too. And I agree, I can't see anything stripey in the recipe- neither raisins nor spring onions are stripey.

They're maple bacon buttermilk scones, the recipe has spring onion in.

Spring onions are a bit stripey! And it does look like a wasp massacre
