If you were staying at a hotel and continental option was offered what would you expect that to include?

Hope todays offering was better!

It's usually a bit of dried up bread and jam. Not a big fan. That sounds poor.

I always insist on naice ham and cutted up pear when I have a continental breakfast!

Barnabus, I'm sure cheese is included in parts of the US. You'd get smoked salmon and cream cheese on a bagel anywhere in NYC. But I was thinking more about American tourists asking/expecting faddy dietary preferences to be accommodated; egg-white omelette, for example.

Coffee, juice, a selection of pastry’s, yoghurt, toast.

I’ve seen continental breakfasts that were just coffee and pastry.

I’ve seen others with pastry’s, cold cooked meats, cheeses, jam, honey, cereals, boiled eggs, fruit, muesli and luxurious creamy hot chocolate.

I had one that was a cold cheese sandwich, a bottle of water and an apple!

Something like this, probably.
