Ashamed to admit that I've been completely slack with meals for months now, spending too much money on ready meals and snacks and no time cooking.

I'm just trying to get into the swing of it and kick my brain into thinking of some meals so-

Can anyone share what a typical week would look like for them with meal plans? (Including packed lunches if that applies!)

Thank you Smile

I try to go with similar things on the same day so that half the work's done - it's then just a case of planning which meat is for which night, or whether we'll have a vege night, so:

Sunday: Roast
Monday: Roast leftovers - usually made in to something Indian/Chinese
Tuesday: This is the only day I plan from scratch, but if I've not got pasta planned for Thursday, it will definitely be pasta of some kind
Wednesday: Stew (winter); Stir fry (summer)
Thursday: Mince - Chilli/Bolognese/Cottage Pie, etc
Friday: Fish
Saturday: Whatever looks nice in the supermarket/takeaway/go to local restaurant

Because I have an outline in my head, it's far easier to decide what to cook each night.
