To not be worried about bleeding between periods?

I seem to have a period then 2 weeks later some brown spotting for a day or two. This is something that has only started happening in the last year and I’ve had the contraceptive implant for 2 years. I’ve always assumed it was a side affect of that. I happened to mention it in passing to DH who is insisting I see a GP and seems annoyed I haven’t taken it seriously. AIBU to think it’s just a side affect of the implant and he’s being a bit of a worrier?

If you'd gone as soon as the symptoms appeared they may have dismissed it as the side effects of the implant. But because you were able to go in and say this has been happening for a few months now, they've referred you straight away. Sometimes being able to point out that there's a bit of history there helps in getting things looked at more thoroughly.

And it could very well still be just the implant.

And don't forget the recent clear smear results you had.
