How much do instagram influencers make?

This is not an anti Mrs Hinch or any other instagram influencer post. But I've been wondering how much money do influencers make per post. Mrs Hinch has millions of followers. She must be making an absolute fortune. Do instagrammers have to register for tax? I'm so intrigued. BTW I'm not against them making money from advertising. If somebody is going to make it (TV/radio/magazine companies) then they might aswell have a nice little chunk of that instead.

I think a lot of people still don’t understand affiliate links & cookies.

I don’t actually have a problem with influencers using declared & transparent ads etc but I don’t use insta any more so don’t really see it. However I do take issue with the promotion of supplements and the like particularly when it’s people like the Kardashian’s who won’t use it themselves & have a large young fan base. I think it’s exploitative.

I have to be honest I don't understand why people get upset about the adverts/sponsorship's/gifts etc that influencers receive

Probably because most people don't know they are being paid for it and feel a bit duped. I have also seen in a FB group people who think Mrs Hinch just likes cleaning and sharing her tips.

Evidently some people make lots of money at it but it's probably most don't make much at all. I think the mummy blogger sphere is completely saturated and those type of blogs have a very very short shelf life. What happens when the DCs refuse to pose for cutesy photos jumping in puddles in their unicorn wellies?

I've friends who make money from their insta posts, they have approx 7k to 10k followers and charge between £100 -£300 for ad posts. But they also get gifted a lot of stuff too, almost weekly! Not sure if they pay tax, not really something that crossed my mind but I assume it would be classed as self-employment? Idk!
