To be fed up of 'unisex' pages on clothing websites for babys

Trolling through 900 items on H&M currently because there is no option for 'boy' or 'girl' until 4 months 🙄 seriously makes me not want to bother looking! I don't personally want to dress my son in a pink frilly dress so why do I need to see all of that to see items more directed for baby boys !!

Would filtering by colour help at all? I.e. black, blue, green I know there will be girls clothes in those colours but likely fewer ?

Unicornshopkeeper · 19/05/2019 19:57

YABU I have a girl whom I'm quite happy to dress in less feminine styles so it suits me.

I'd quite happily have a filter to block all the pink frilly dresses though

ZippyBungleandGeorge · 19/05/2019 20:00

YABU I don't want to only dress my son in green and blue things emblazoned with dinosaurs. The leggings he had on today come up on a unisex search on the website but say girl on the receipt. They're just striped leggings.

YABU

Yabu. You have to scroll through clothes you don't like when looking for children anyway. I have to get past all the cringe winnie the pooh and Disney shit, regardless of gender.

HJWT · 19/05/2019 20:01

@Unicornshopkeeper thats easily done isn't it go on and filter out the pink stuff 😂

Can you not filter by garment, so no dresses etc?

53rdWay · 19/05/2019 20:02

Most of the stuff on the H&M baby site looks fairly neutral to me. One or two dresses, mostly babygros/vests/dungarees etc. Do you have a filter on by accident?

Banhaha · 19/05/2019 20:02

Just filter it by item type and remove the dresses if you don't want them.

HJWT · 19/05/2019 20:03

Maybe its just H&M all I can see is pink or frilly

YABU what are "girls" and "boys" clothes? Do you mean you want blue and grey? If you don't want to look through 900 items, then look for "jumpers" or "joggers", etc. A colour filter would also be useful.

Siameasy · 19/05/2019 20:04

You’d have to filter out or in the appropriate clothing type eg if you had a boy filter out dresses and headbands but yes harder the other way around so hmmm
Personally I love H and M and was gutted when DD grew too big for their envelope bodysuits. I liked the unisex colours and funky patterns - not cos I wanted her sex to be a mystery but because it’s nice to see other colours than powder blue and baby pink. However, despite my efforts she remains firmly wedded to pink 😂

53rdWay · 19/05/2019 20:05

You must have some sort of filter on if all you’re seeing is pink and frilly. It looks like this kind of stuff for me.
