And doesn't start being a presenter elsewhere?

Redshoeblueshoe · 15/05/2019 19:06

I think ITV will give him another show.
They just left Colleen Nolan have a bit of time off, then she carries on as normal.
I wish ITV would have a complete revamp

Sparklingbrook · 15/05/2019 19:10

I would imagine he will be back in some shape or form on something.

I agree ITV is very stale. GMB is ok I like Piers Morgan, but get rid of Lorraine (what's that show for), This Morning is past it's sell by date, as is Loose Women.

ShirleyPhallus · 15/05/2019 19:10

Why does anyone watch that crap anyway? 🤷🏼‍♀️

mouldyhousemouldylife · 15/05/2019 19:10

I hope the sanctimonious bellend fucks off forever.

GodDammitAmy · 15/05/2019 19:16

Sadly I think they will. I hope he faces police proceedings for his part in the guy’s suicide but I doubt he will. Odious little toad.

outvoid · 15/05/2019 19:16

He’ll no doubt get another show. I hope not but think he will. ITV is past it.

likeafishneedsabike · 15/05/2019 19:18

He’ll be around, no doubt about it.

Sparklingbrook · 15/05/2019 19:19

Probably be on Sky or something.

LizzieSiddal · 15/05/2019 19:21

I don’t think he will be given another show.
Remember none of us have seen what Kyle said to that poor man. For the tv company to not only remove that programme, but every other JK show, I think he must have been his usual nasty self.

NotMyPuppy · 15/05/2019 19:22

I’m with mouldyhouse on this

ManchesterBorn · 15/05/2019 19:23

why wouldn't he?
People watch him, everybody is talking about him, the public loves his shows.

He would have been off air a long time ago if he wasn't making the chanel any money.

Iwantacookie · 15/05/2019 19:24

Well I can't see them leaving David Dickinson on so my thoughts are it will be another chat show but less shouty. But there again that's how the Jeremy Kyle show started so the next one could go the same way.

WalkingDownMadison · 15/05/2019 19:30

I didn't like the programme.

But the haters on MN are at it again. Tearing down someone.

I'm thinking of glass houses, etc. But people seem so self-righteous these days, they can't wait to very personally attack someone, anyone in the media who is a moving target.

Mummyshark2019 · 15/05/2019 19:38

That show was a complete embarrassment and I am glad they have pulled it. Hope we never see Jeremy again on TV but somehow I fear we will.

augustusglupe · 15/05/2019 19:51

Reading through the thread and I agree Walking I didn’t like the show but how do we know that Jeremy Kyle is actually responsible for this mans death?
I’m glad the show has been taken of air, I think that’s the only decision tbh.
ITV put out and backed that show. Stringing up Jeremy Kyle himself as solely responsible for a suicide is naive.
I hope we do see him on tv again, why not?

Gertie75 · 15/05/2019 20:01

Apparently the show had 1 million viewers making it itv's most watched daytime show, I don't think JK himself was the attraction more the content of the show, real car crash tv but appeals to the million people who are on their sofa every morning instead of at work so it'll probably be replaced with a watered down version of the same format.

NotMyPuppy · 15/05/2019 20:03

I’m not saying Jeremy Kyle is personally responsible for this poor man’s death. I thought he was a dickhead long before this happened.

ssd · 15/05/2019 20:15

No one said he's responsible for the man's death.
What were saying is is that he's shite.

OP posts:
LizzieSiddal · 15/05/2019 20:18

Agree no one is blaming him solely for this man’s death. We are saying his behaviour is awful when he talks to these people and he shouldn’t be on tv.

slipperywhensparticus · 15/05/2019 20:18

He really isnt responsible for someone killing themselves the show tried to provide aftercare and support he refused to engage with it Jeremy is the head on the block but he walks on does his stuff and walks off again the people backstage are the ones who are supposed to check they are sane stable straight not on bail not too drunk not too high etc etc he is who he is paid to be and his support staff are supposed to make sure no one gets hurt

BigRedLondonBus · 15/05/2019 20:29

I would say that GodDammitAmy is blaming jk for the death by hoping he faces police proceedings. I think some people are being awful tbh, the man did not Kill himself because of jk, the show has been running for 15 years, the man who appeared obviously suffered from mh issues that were not related to the show he obviously had deeper issues going on.

donquixotedelamancha · 15/05/2019 20:33

Christ on a bike. I'm usually against the pack mentality of criticising people who make one mistake but this is Jeremy Fucking Kyle. It's not new information that his show preys on and humiliates the vulnerable.

ManchesterBorn · 15/05/2019 20:38

What were saying is is that he's shite
the ratings of his show prove you wrong.

Finding the popularity of shit show like BB, celebrity island, JK.. highly depressing is another thing entirely. They only exist because people watch.

ssd · 15/05/2019 22:14

Just shows how many folk watch shite telly Manchester, doesn't mean he's any good.

OP posts:
ssd · 15/05/2019 22:26

Mind you I suppose shite to me is different to someone else. I personally don't like him or his style of TV.
