Apparently viewers are complaining because Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act was a group with West End experience:

I think some people have this romantic notion that only people who’ve never sung outside of the shower or have only ever done their magic act for their nan should be allowed to compete, so we can have the story of the great undiscovered talent getting their big break. It sounds nice - but isn’t the reality that most truly ‘undiscovered’ acts (i.e. never worked professionally) are undiscovered for a reason? That reason being they’re not much cop?
Most aspiring performers who are any good will have been in the chorus or short-lived bands, done other talent shows etc. Why wouldn’t they carry on looking for a big break, and use shows like BGT if it helps them get here?
The lads in this group are teenagers. The only people who could pick them out as ‘West End stars’ would be their mothers. Have they really ‘had their chance’ before they even turn 16?
A friend of mine is a singer. He’s done reality TV, bit-part acting and has a publishing deal. If I told you his name, I doubt any of you would be any the wiser - yet by the standards of those who claim ‘it should be just unknowns’, he’d be ruled out of BGT, X-Factor etc.
Surely anyone with a bit of sense knows that ‘overnight success’ is pretty much impossible?
