Still ill after the wonderful ( 🙄 ) emergence of the genetic condition that mum didn’t tell me runs on my dads side of the family. My mum thought because he left us as young kids “it wouldn’t matter”. Turns out your dna is the same after your parents divorce. I’m not sleeping so well because I’m devastated basically. It may cost me my career. Which funds my dds and I wonderful lifestyle. Mortgage, savings, private health care, the lot.

I waited excitedly for my long distance BF to come and spend some time with me. He arrived. Ate my food then announced he had to go back to his home town and when I hugged him. I felt sad and empty. He left after only an hour. I realised just now when I hugged him his arms were hanging by his sides and not hugging me back. I feel so sad I was looking forward to seeing him. We only meet up every month for a weekend. But I was hoping for more than an hour.

@Jenasaurus then you’re a better person than him. He’s not got the guts to do anything more than what he thinks you will accept right now to make his conscience feel better. Start a new life tomorrow. Without him. 🌹

Because I’m struggling with insomnia since my husband and I decided to separate earlier this week so I had a mooch into town and wandered round some of the doors I used to work on chatting to old friends I haven’t seen in ages.

It was good for the soul and I’m now curled up at home with a great big dirty kebab which will make me feel like shit in the morning but is so worth it!

Awake because dd2 is ill. She's usually a happy little thing and I can't remember the last time she was ill but she's burning up and has been in bed all day. I know it's a tiny thing and she'll be fine soon but I really hate the kids being ill. I'd rather be ill myself.
