To ask why my ovulation pain is so bad?!

I swear ovulation is worse than the period! I can't be the only one surely?!

All the gps want to do is put me on the pill, but that doesn't agree with me so I just have to suck it up it seems

(Currently in bed feeling sorry for myself )

OP I've started thyroid meds this month (post ovulation) so it will be interesting to see if they reduce ovulation pain too this coming month 🤔 they can make periods much lighter so I wonder goes off to google furiously

Also thank you for posting as you've reminded me to push my GP for a lap for further tests for the severe ov pain.

I have no scar tissue and both fallopian tubes are clear and healthy and had a normal birth @ambereeree. My ovaries feel like they're ripping out of my arse when I ovulate 🤷 I doubt it is scar tissue if the OP had the pain prior to ovary removal on the opposite side.

@chainmail I've tried the combined and mini, several of each.

I had the injection, made me so miserable! And the injection, was oaky for two of the three years, but the pain came back after then and horrible mood swings. Because we want to try in the next couple of years I don't want anything quite as long term
