To be fuming about this?

Spent the last two weeks working my arse off on a big project at work. Including working over Easter, late nights, no lunches. Two other colleagues were also involved in this. A guy from another team, and a project coordinator.

The project came to an end this week with a big presentation which went well. The senior management member who accompanied us praised me for my hard work. The client also thanked me for the hard work I had obviously put in.

Each week a company round-up is sent. This is read my the whole senior management team and staff and is actually a well regarded document. For more junior members it is a chance to raise your profile within the business.

On today's round-up, the project manager had thanked the member of the other team for all of his hard work but instead of thanking me, thanked my line manager, who has not had any involvement whatsoever on this work (and freely admits it - the project was given to me to handle).

This is actually the second time this project manager has done this to me after a big piece of work.

AIBU to be absolutely fuming?

Not at all. I would be exceedingly pissed off, and would be tempted to send him an email thanking him for his public acknowledgment of all your hard work! Hopefully he would get the sarcasm.

Absolutely not BU. I'd absolutely have to bring it up with the project manager. Do you both get along generally or is there a clash?
