Two small kids, one often ill, DH and I both self employed and on call most of the time or working.
I can work from home and quite flexibly so I get a lot of time with the kids, but with a non sleeper, I feel demands are on me 24/7. It's very rare I even get to the hairdressers etc.
Baby has been sick all week, I've had very little sleep and lots going on in work.
But tonight as soon as DH walked in I came upstairs, ran a bath which I've topped up at least 3 times now, put on a face and hair mask and DH brought me a glass of red. Feeling almost human again.
What simple thing do you do to make you feel better when life is getting on top of you??

I have a baby and a toddler, my me time on weekdays is usually when I take a shower under the baby’s supervision from a bouncy chair or in the toilet with the toddler offering to wipe my bum. Jokes aside, I try and read few pages from a book most days when DH comes back from work.

For me, going for a wee run but this pregnancy has kind of put the kibosh on that so it’s usually Netflix and nail painting.

Yes I also love to garden, Pinterest Blush, drink wine, have a weekly bath with a face mask, book club and have lunch outside from time to time. I find I need solitary activities to truly unwind.

I attend a weekly pottery/ceramics class.
It really is my 2 hours of heaven a week. It's term time and I miss it so much during the holidays!
