Haha, no, yanbu, me too!

Sparklingbrook · 09/05/2019 14:18

Cry because you are cringeing so much? Grin

Drogosnextwife · 09/05/2019 14:24

I do that too! What is it about them!

StickOfRhubarb · 09/05/2019 14:25

The BA advert flash mob kills me every time.

StickOfRhubarb · 09/05/2019 14:26

Shit, it's T-mobile! Blush

Ahh, the power of advertising!

StickOfRhubarb · 09/05/2019 14:29

That is a poor quality link!

This is better

Piffle11 · 09/05/2019 14:30

The T Mobile one always gets me by the end … but I've never been moved by any other flash mobs.

Nickpan · 09/05/2019 14:38

but why, I wonder? Is it because it comes across as a bit filmy, as slowly more and more bystanders join in?

My favorite one is with sound of music.

SelfIdentifyingAsAnonymous · 09/05/2019 14:41

Is this gonna be like the Sistine Chapel thread?

mogloveseggs · 09/05/2019 14:42

Oh I love them!

desparate4sleep · 09/05/2019 14:44

I've never seen that one before. I am now in tears too. Thanks for making my day :)

Gingernaut · 09/05/2019 14:51

The flash mobs that 'get me' are those where there are plenty of ordinary members of the public, but enough performers to create a 'spectacle'.

There are loads on YouTube, where the performers outnumber the public and it's clear from the outset that something is about to happen.

The T-Mobile ones seem to be perfect.

The first one I saw was the rock dance sequence at Liverpool Street Station.

Gingernaut · 09/05/2019 14:54

Sorry St Pancras. Blush

Shivermetimbers0112 · 09/05/2019 14:56

More likely to 🤮

Honeypickle · 09/05/2019 15:01

It’s the mother hugging her 3 children near the end of the clip that started me crying! And a good sing song always makes me emotional.

AdaColeman · 09/05/2019 15:21

There are a few from Antwerp Centraal Station. Do Re Mi is my favourite, but Grease is fun too!

I thinks it's the delight on the faces of the onlookers that makes dance flash mobs special!

Coka · 10/05/2019 06:10

Ha! Omg me too. So glad I am not the only one. I dont know why. Generally, i feel overwelmed and want to cry at any big group of people doing something when there is music playing.....

shiveringtimber · 10/05/2019 06:21

My eyes are prickling too. The T mobile one. It suggests a joy and a unity that we can only dream of. If only life was like that! Instead of being worried about lost luggage, or a lonely homecoming, stressed and tired, hating the crowds and noise and confusion, everyone's happy and relaxed and harmonious.Smile

AwkwardSquad · 10/05/2019 06:32

This one gets me every time

Shimy · 10/05/2019 06:35

My people! I love a good Flashmob and would love to be in one Grin though I can neither sing nor dance or play an instrument. These are my two favourites:

Flashmob 1 little girl gives coin

Flashmob 2 Copenhagen

They just make me feel the world is not such a bad place after all Smile.

bruffin · 10/05/2019 06:39

I love a good flash mob,

Girasole02 · 10/05/2019 06:39

I've been part of several. They are just as emotional to be in as they are to watch! Total buzz.

GrandmasNightie · 10/05/2019 06:40

Like a pp poster said - any big group of people where music is involved always get me. The look of joy on the bystanders faces as they notice more and more people join in - and such a mix of people.
Op YADNBU!

NaturalBornWoman · 10/05/2019 06:45

I love this one
