So I get a procedure done every 6 months Botox and at the lively clinic I usually go to prices have gone through the roof. I know the owner well enough to know she’s going through a very difficult divorce and I think I used to get a ‘regular’ discount that disappeared with the divorce bill. Anyway, last time it was £400.
I’ve been quoted through a different practitioner, good reviews, same level of medical training, personal recommendation, £280 for the same treatment.
However I feel I owe some kind of loyalty to my usual nurse. I feel like messaging her something along the lines of ‘I really want to stick with you but the price difference is too much and I can’t afford it, is there anything you can do?’
Is this cheeky as hell or giving her the chance to retain long held business? :/

No, I think it’s fine to ask. Fair enough for her to put her prices up but also fair for a long-standing customer to query it.

Fine to ask. Also HOW MUCH Shock
I pay £99 for 2 areas from an a&e nurse who does an awesome job

@VaggieMight yes Smile we've worked out over time how much I need as I was cautious at first. Now I have my 11 lines completely frozen and lighter on my forehead. I don't need much of a top up usually as she knows how I want my face Grin

I think at double the price of people with equal training and reviews you are entitled to ask. I wouldn't be paying double for anything out of loyalty.

What was the price before? Did she explain her increase and give warning? That is standard.

YesQueen · 08/05/2019 00:26

@VaggieMight definitely it's about trust too. I have a rare blood condition and when I said I have X, she replied with ok, what type? And i knew she was the right person. Plus being (I typed nurse!) she's actually a&e doctor I feel safe with her

If she's good STAY, I've had cheap Botox and it go wrong about 4 times now. Found a lady who knows what she doing and worth the money. Honestly you'll end up unable to put mascara on your eyes and you can't get it fixed you have to just wait. Be careful with cheap botox!!

Go with the other clinic. Also for Botox yeti be most effective you should leave a maximum of four months between treatments so getting Botox every 6 months isn’t likely to be doing much.
