How has your day been? Back at work after a long break

Had a blood test at the Dr's and then walked a long way into town.
Bought some delicious 'proper sausages' a. new lip brush and some face wash for DH. Caught the train home and had some sushi for lunch and the nodded off. Thanks for asking

It's been a day in the house. I'm 4 days overdue with my first baby so have been doing some matched betting for my partner!

Shite day here. More cancer for my poor dad. And for my friend too. Found out both today.
Seems to be everywhere I turn at the moment.

Not the greatest. Up most of the night with poorly kids. Day started at 4.45. I mean come on, CBeebies doesn't start until 6. Hacking cough for me. DS overtired so being a little git. DD hyper, demanding attention and asking a million stupid questions. A close friends mum died suddenly yesterday, another friends MIL died suddenly today, and my MIL visited us after seeing her sister who will probably be dying soon. FIL's dementia and mobility issues are getting noticeably worse.

But I had a nice visit from a friend, whose DC played nicely with mine, and DH got home from work early.
