To ask what would make your life easier?

After years getting wonderful advice from mumsnet chat boards, I wanted to ask for some help!

I've recently come into some money, and after years of working in marketing selling OTHER people's products, ideas and services I can finally start my own company!

After much brainstorming, I've got a few solid ideas, but the main point is that I want to design / make / sell something that people really NEED, that would make their lives better and hopefully easier!

So hit me! No idea is too random (I've got everything from baby products, to self help, to beauty products, safety ETC on my brainstorming board!)

What would YOU like to make YOUR life easier/ better/ more enjoyable?

Lovely, dainty, pretty, pointed flat shoes that have a concealed thicker-than-usual-for-dainty-shoes soft padded sole, so it's possible to walk for miles in comfort, and have elegant feet at the same time.

And pretty, dainty shoes that don't scuff easily or fall apart. Make my life complete by getting into shoe design, OP. Please.

Or how about getting fabric re-woven/re-printed in gorgeous original vintage designs? I'm amazed that, with the enthusiasm for all things vintage, there is so little authentic reproduction vintage fabric around. I would be your best customer.

Failing that, a handywoman to do all the jobs I can't (would feel much safer with a woman here)

Definitely a market for female electricians, plumbers etc. Also, female car sales women and mechanics.

I always feel like I'm getting screwed over by male car mechanics. I'd feel more at ease with a woman. And yes, please call me sexist.

Agree with everyone else : if you had a cleaning service with efficient cleaners you'd make a fortune. And they needn't be cheap either. I'd pay good money for a top notch cleaner.
