Just that really. I'm just curious.

Ie. "Babe❤️" or "John".

OP posts:
Lookingforpizza · 05/05/2019 14:12

Oh! I’ve completely misunderstood the OP Blush he was in my phone for a long time under a playful nickname I gave him related to his job. Now it’s just his shortened name with a heart. When we live together/marry I probably will add him as ICE, just seems sensible

PurpleFlower1983 · 05/05/2019 14:13

His name and a heart. He calls me ‘(Name) Beautiful’ which I find cute! Grin

Whoops75 · 05/05/2019 14:13

His first name only

SherlockSays · 05/05/2019 14:18

His first and last name, as I do for everyone in my phone book. Can't deal with cutesy names.

SherlockSays · 05/05/2019 14:19

@AveAtqueVale not weird at all, my contacts are exactly the same, even for parents, grandparents etc.

Isth · 05/05/2019 14:19

It was his full name for a really long time, but I changed it after I saved his cousins name which is super close to his, he’s now just his first name and a red heart.

Alsohuman · 05/05/2019 14:22

Mine’s ICE in contacts. So an emergency crew would know who to call. This was recommended years ago.

magicstar1 · 05/05/2019 14:24

DH was in my phone for years as Sex Machine .... it was a joke from his mate on the day we first met.
Then last year I left my phone in a builders providers, rang it from DH’s phone to ask them to hold on to it for me. Of course his name came up and they all burst out laughing when I collected it Grin

LadyBahBahBah · 05/05/2019 14:24

His listing on my phone is 'Total Cunt'

soundsystem · 05/05/2019 14:27

Um, his name. Just his first name, and other people I know with the same first name are first name/surname. Everyone is in my phone with their names, except my mum, who is "mum".

AfterTrentham · 05/05/2019 14:29

My husband is just stored as his name. We swapped mobile numbers in a professional context (though in retrospect he clearly fancied me) a few days before he asked me out.

He stores everybody with their title as well as their name, so before we got married I was Dr Firstname Maidenname, and now I'm Mrs Firstname Marriedname. Looks rather formal written down!

We chat a lot on Facebook Messenger during the working day, and we've customised our chat to include our nicknames for each other there.

KooMoo · 05/05/2019 14:32

ICE .... in case of emergency. The emergency services know to look under ICE so know whom to contact in a true emergency.

AllesAusLiebe · 05/05/2019 15:11

It used to be “Schatz”, before I was told that “shat” in English is the past tense of to take a shit and it sounds quite similar. Now I just have his full name.

A colleague of mine has her DH listed as “dickhead”, which would often be appropriate.

Rezie · 05/05/2019 15:58

Firstname Lastname

headinhands · 05/05/2019 15:59

His name and/or honey, sweetie sexpot etc.

ShesABelter · 05/05/2019 16:00

Just his name

Aria2015 · 05/05/2019 16:00

I call him 'Husband First Name' - because I know a few people with the same name so prefixing it with 'husband' helps me avoid sending the others of the same name shopping lists lol!

Mamaslave18 · 05/05/2019 16:04

Slightly off topic but how are the emergency services supposed to get into your phone contacts in the event of an emergency? They wouldn’t know the code to unlock it?!

DeadDoorpost · 05/05/2019 16:04

His Name < 3

Everyone else has either their usual name or a nickname depending on who I'm trying to remember as I have a lot of duplicates, AND have DH's contacts on my phone that can't be got rid of as he needs them on there (we switch phones when he plays Pokemon Go). I put my name in his the same as mine. He's not bothered changing it which is nice.

Alsohuman · 05/05/2019 16:05

Mine’s not locked.

bowchicapewpew · 05/05/2019 16:05

I call him nothing. E.g.
"WTF?! I thought you are covering the kids tomorrow?"
"(Redacted)"
"Does daddy.. Smiley and flirty emojis"

iolaus · 05/05/2019 16:06

His name
Vast majority are by their full name - although I do have a few where they are under their first name and surname is how I know them - so I have FirstName Work for someone and a few with the name of the course I'm studying as their surname
My parents are mum and dad

bowchicapewpew · 05/05/2019 16:06

Oh sorry i thougyt you meant in communications Blush
He's Dipshit

YaBentBastard · 05/05/2019 16:06

GinTimeAtHome · 05/05/2019 16:13

Dh is on my phone as Chubby Hubby

Normally when answering the phone I either say alright fat boy/chubs/chunk any other random name!

It’s a long standing thing 🤷‍♀️ Goes back over 10 years!

I’m on his phone as Mrs Chubs and if I call him I get called all sorts of random names, for example is this my nice wife calling? Or the mean sulky one!

To be fair we are quite childish but no offence is even taken or meant and it keeps us amused thinking up new ways to wind each other up!
