Yes, that annoying phrase is doing the rounds and putting pressure on women to get in shape, lose weight, shave bits that haven't seen the light of day since last summer, upping your tanning habits NOW!!

I’m not summer ready. I need a new light weight jacket. I bought some new dog walking trainers in the winter sales.

I also need to buy some new herb plants for the garden.

Fuck me no. I realised in my 20s that I was never going to look like those models on the beach and that I would rather drink my own wee than worry about what some 20 year old movie star was wearing to a premiere.
It helps being gay I think, there’s a lot less pressure to look a certain way and other women are much more forgiving about wobbly bits or what state your lady garden is in!
I have sunnies, sun cream and bought some lovely new sandals the other day so I am ready to go...
