AIBU to be fuming that I'm getting passed-over for an upcoming job just because I'm female? When I was first told my younger brother was taking over the family business, I just accepted it, as that was the way of the world then... but since then there's been like 4 waves of feminism and STILL my family are stuck in the dark ages. Seems a bit unfair especially as my mum is actually the big boss, whilst dad is sort of her PA.... so you'd think she of all people would give me a chance!
