To follow Mumsnet as an 18 year old?

Disclaimer: I'm not actually a mother.

I'm an 18 year old male who currently has no intention of ever becoming a parent (for several reasons), but I do regularly find myself surfing this website when I go online. I just find getting alternative perspectives on upbringing to what my parents instilled in me to be very interesting, and find the feminist aspect of the website very admirable (yes, I know men can join, too).

I always find myself wondering "What on Earth would the 25-something plus year old women think if they knew you were on here reading their AIBU posts?" In traditional Mumsnet fashion, I thought I'd make one myself and find out. If only for a bit of fun ;)

I love the idea of over 25 as something 'other' :)
Really takes me back. It's been a while since I was under 25.
OP as far as I'm concerned you are very welcome . MN is hilarious, supportive , diverse, interesting and can be great fun. Enjoy.

Not attention seeking?

Ahsoka - you can stop looking for how to edit posts, it is not a facility we are offered on this site. The only way to have anything edited is to report your own post to MNHQ (using the Report button on your post) and ask them to change it - they will if it's something major or triggering, but they won't change spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.

As has been said, most people don't mind or care who you are or why you're here, so long as you're not trolling the boards or being a goady fucker. :)

Not the first time I've been wrong, by any means! I can't say I've ever seen anybody actually use it though.

I’m an 18 year old female who also doesn’t have any children. I get judged by my own mum for being on here as I’m not a parent :)
