To ask for a virtual hug?

I suffer from anxiety and low mood. Have felt rubbish the past few days. Am overanalysing every text (or lack of) from friends, reading into things that rationally I know probably aren’t true.
I’m having one of those days where I’m constantly on the verge of tears, if I’m not crying that is. I know tomorrow is another day and hopefully will be brighter, and I also know logically that I have so much to be grateful for and happy about, but I still need a hug. Sad

Dancer Thanks bad month for me too (anniversary) I cried at "5 little ducks" the nursery rhyme this morning and DH who has the emotional insight of a fucking teaspoon patted me on the head as you would an upset dog.

Anxiety is shite, I have bi-polar and PTSD off the events of said anniversary and honestly I find the anxiety part the hardest to manage.

Dancer12345 - you're not alone. I'm the same! And it is hard. But there's always light at the end of the tunnel Smile

Thanks so much for all the hugs and thoughts. It’s amazing how much words from a stranger online can bring warmth.

Hugs and Flowers to all of you who suffer too.

Pandamodium My ex was severely lacking in emotional insight too. I don’t think I’d have even got a pat on the head! It makes everything seem so much worse when that person just doesn’t even TRY to get it.

As I understand it, the drug is the same but other ingredients will be different which may affect the way your body absorbs the drug. You can discuss this with your Pharmacist or doctor and if a particular brand suits you better it may be possible to ensure you only get that brand.

Last year there were reported problems with Sertraline, with some patients complaining that it wasn't working. So don't worry you are not alone.

Hope your day is going well today.

Dancer all I do is remind myself over and over it won't last forever diazepam also helps. It might seem like it will but I won't.

Coming up 13 years I've been on this site it's posters (and especially some fab regulars on the MH board) have seen me through my darkest days and I will never forget that.

Tablets are tricky, brain chemistry is tricky but you will come out the other end.
