To ask when my post is likely to get to me?

Ordered something from eBay on Sunday, it was posted this morning from London 1st class, being delivered to East Midlands.

Can anyone take an estimated guess re when it will arrive?

It's a parcel but a fairly small one. 5 packets of hair extensions for box braids, my appt is on Wednesday morning and I'm panicking they won't arrive!

What do we think? WIB sensible to presume 1st class won't always be next day and to buy some more from my local shop (just not the colour length I really wanted, but never mind...)

Not a big deal, just a bit strapped for cash at the moment, hence the eBay buy!

Only because that's a choice some posters make.

It's not a rule, you as an adult made a conscious choice to be nasty for no reason and just because that is the popular tone on aibu doesn't mean you as an individual have to follow that trend.

brizzlemint · 29/04/2019 13:53

So when I read a recent thread and every single poster was horrible to the OP, that's not the norm then?

chamenanged · 29/04/2019 14:11

Even if it was why would you think it would be something to emulate @brizzlemint? Confused you sound absolutely horrid!

OP, it's fairly obvious to anyone with half a brain that basic hair care (which for you includes your extensions) is essential to all intents and purposes. One presumes that people who feel free to pass comment on that would also have something to say about someone who didn't keep shampoo in the house Hmm hope they arrive soon for you!

Ginkythefangedhellpigofdoom · 29/04/2019 14:37

A norm that each individual chooses to participate in.

It changes nothing about my last post does it?

you are an individual who is choosing to be nasty to someone and excusing it because others on here do it so I will too.

Well no that's not a reason, well not a valid one imo that's like saying well everyone else stole from the shop so I did too. Or everyone else called Norma a fat ugly whale so I did too.

The popular choice doesn't mean it's the right one and we all have the capacity (obviously not including exceptions due to various conditions that would cause incapacity) to know the difference if someone chooses to ignore that then that person should owns the responsibility for that.

Sorry OAAN I didn't mean for your thread to get hijacked, il bow out now so it can get back to the point. Good luck with the package I hope it arrives in time.

Literally everything I've done for the past 6 months has been for my son. I'm just getting my hair done. Even skint people need to get their hair done. Shame this thread was hijacked. I'll try not to feel too bad about doing something nice for myself.

Thanks to those who answered as a normal person would!

You absolutely do not need to explain yourself oaan

You go to your appointment and you enjoy it, don't let anyone make you feel you shouldn't.

I'm sorry I was part of the thread hijack Blush

brizzlemint · 29/04/2019 17:28

Thanks for telling me how horrible I am, as it happens I already knew.

RestingBitchFaced · 29/04/2019 17:33

I would think they would come tomorrow hopefully. What time does your postman usually deliver? Or maybe wed am before appointment

BishopBrennansArse · 29/04/2019 18:55

Also let's face it there's a bit tight in that you look for products elsewhere at a better price (like eBay) and a bit tight in that you're not feeding yourself. In this context I'm pretty sure it's the former, not that it's anyone else's business. But hope it gets there, OP, it's not a peak time for post so fingers crossed.

ViolentGin · 29/04/2019 18:58

I hope they get there in time OP and that you enjoy your appointment and leave feeling like a queen!
