Horrible cat...

It’s a hideous thing, it attacked my other neighbours cat very badly and has it in for my lovely cat.
Only yesterday she came in with a bleeding facial wound and fur missing off her ear.

It used to come into my back garden actively looking for my cat to attack and would leave if it couldn’t find her.

It very rarely comes into my back garden now as each time it does I chuck the dog out but the cunt still comes into my front garden...

It tried sitting on my bin once outside my window (where my cat sits) so I chucked a mug of water in its face and it hasn’t tried that since but I still see it sulking about.

I would release the dog again or chase the bastard away myself but it lives next door which could cause conflict if I’m seen...

What would you do?

I despise this cat, I can’t approach the neighbours to demand they pay for my cats injuries (this is not the first time it’s drawn blood) nor suggest keeping in at certain times as they are not approachable.

Can’t you keep your own cat in? Cats fight, it’s what they do, if she’s being injured then don’t let her out.

drinkygin · 27/04/2019 22:54

And of course you can chase it it’ll it’s on your property. Ridiculous.

Doggydoggydoggy · 27/04/2019 22:58

I don’t think so, she would go stir crazy.
She is definitely not an indoor cat.

She doesn’t fight, this cat actively singles her out.
We have lots of cats round here and they all get along fine.
Except this one..

Mine has the back garden to go in where she is usually safe as it rarely comes in.

Basically, I want to know if anyone knows how if there is a way I can keep it out of my front garden without the neighbour seeing?

Just chase it fgs! If your neighbours see, explain that it’s fighting with your cat! Honestly don’t see the issue here.

HBStowe · 27/04/2019 23:02

Water pistol from the living room window?

Doggydoggydoggy · 27/04/2019 23:04

The issue is the neighbour is not approachable.
I try to actively avoid contact and don’t want any conflict.

Maybe I should get one of those powerful super soaker things and stay at the window like a hunter stalking a deer...

Is your cat spayed/neutered? They may be fighting as they're close rivals... that's what the issue was between mine and the neighbours cats until I got mine done.

Doggydoggydoggy · 27/04/2019 23:05

Both cats are females.
Mine is spayed, I don’t know about cuntcat

I think most cat owners would accept their cat being squirted with water if its being a nuisance.

Thecabbageassasin · 27/04/2019 23:10

Just blast it with water pistol from window.
Why are your neighbours not approachable, do you mean they are aggressive too?
You have my sympathies my own is currently being terrorised by the local bully and I would love to keep him in, but some cats just wanna be outdoors.

PookieDo · 27/04/2019 23:14

LOL do we have the same cat problem! Maybe we are neighbours 😂

Doggydoggydoggy · 27/04/2019 23:20

Ah, I can’t go into too much detail cabbageassassin as it would perhaps be outing but we do not get along, I try to actively avoid contact with them.
They wouldn’t care about the cat.

Haven't got any advice really but my parents neighbours had a really nasty cat. I remembered it attacking a staff once belonging to another neighbour. The poor dog just sat there and took it whilst several adults tried shooing it away. Of we came home and it she was sleeping in our door step (which she liked to do a lot in the summer) we'd all be too scared to step over her as she most likely go for you. Most nasty cat I've ever come across. I don't even think her owners liked her much. She died in the end (from old age I guess).

Can you spray the cat with water every time it comes in and send your dog out with your cat?

Doggydoggydoggy · 27/04/2019 23:45

I can’t really let the dog out the front garden as it isn’t secure, it would very difficult to do as it is such an odd shape.

She has chased cuntcat out of the front garden before but only when I’ve heard my cat screaming and opened the door to go and rescue her and the dog has raced out with me.

Any suggestions for the longest firing water gun?!
Distance I mean, not power.
I think I’m going to start soaking it from the window whenever I see it.
