To think that Lorraine is a terrible interviewer

I have just had the misfortune to watch Lorraine interviewing Rod Stewart and it was just cringy. Constant interrupting and interjecting, gushing like mad, gurny crazed looking expression.

Is she always like this and if so aibu to wonder how on earth she became famous when she is embarrassing to watch?

@Macandcheese05 when jade came out of the big brother house and was being accused of being racist to another housemate called shilpa shetty she was doing interviews trying to defend herself and explain what happened. I remember Lorraine being nasty to her. It was AGES ago now.

She always seems to go with whatever the popular opinion is at the time, too - if someone is out of favour with the public, she'll stick the boot in. If someone is well liked, she'll fawn over them. I'm not a particular fan of the Beckhams, but they were getting stick for something in the papers: Lorraine talks about it on her show and has a go at them - I remember thinking, I bet you wouldn't say that to their faces. Also, if one of her 'celeb' guests like Katie Price had done what the Beckhams did, she'd be saying 'oh that's a great idea, you're so clever for thinking of it'.

I thought some saint would come on and tell you off for 'slating slebs' but it seems like it's unanimous, LK is a woeful presenter who should have been replaced years ago. She is so sickeningly obsequious and self important!

But someone must enjoy watching her as surely she would have been sacked

Isn’t she married to the producer or director of her programme? I think that’s probably how she’s managed to stay where she is.

Just googled to see who she is married to and came across an interview she gave to the Guardian where she said

She's an insipid,arse licking bore and and I really don't know how she has a job in television. Fucking or blackmailing one of the producers maybe? Wouldn't surprise me because there's something about her that makes me think she's a real nasty piece of work behind that perfect persona of hers.

The only time I’ve seen her was when a few years ago she co presented some of the BBC’s coverage of the Chelsea flower show.

She is so annoying. She interrupts constantly and her lips go up at one side. She is very false and loves everyone. Dan Wootton her expert makes me want to throw things at the telly.

Andrea McLean is another one I can't stand. She cheated on her first husband I can't tolerate people who have affairs.

Holly is another annoying air head. She has no talent and her interviewing skills are dire. She does a silly girly giggle like a teenager.

ITV need to get some talented presenters.

Bring back Fern Brittain or Christine Bleakly.

Agree with whoever said she knows where the bodies are buried. Something is keeping her in her job and it ain't talent or personality.

I agree with all the comments about her. I didn't see the Jade interview but I can't blame her for being offhand with Jade, as Jade was absolutely vile to Shilpa in the BB house. I wouldn't have wanted to interview Jade either!
