My baby is really fucking hurting me.

I can't cope. I'm seriously considering ringing the maternity unit.

Every time he makes a movement it honestly kills me, I feel like my ribs might break and it's absolute agony. I cannot walk without having a terrible shooting pain down below and it feels extremely heavy. In fact, my entire body does.

I'm only small myself and I just feel like my body can't deal with this anymore. I can't carry the weight much longer.

The pressure is so so intense Sad I've never felt anything like it.

How far along are you? 💐💐

incogneto · 26/04/2019 03:37

@Blondebakingmumma 38 weeks Sad

I think I am being unreasonable as I'm due to be induced on Saturday. But I've really struggled the past couple days with the pain and I don't know if maybe I've been in early labour. It's just getting worse and worse I feel so sore now.

I can't sit, walk, stand or lie because it hurts so badly when he kicks me (non stop at the moment)

I remember two pains from late pregnancy, it’s hard to tell from your description which it is more like:

Achey pain down legs/back = beginning of labour, can come and go but present when sitting still

Knitting needle in cervix = weird pregnancy stabbing pain

Mummaofmytribe · 26/04/2019 03:57

What you're describing sounds like my daughter's experience late pregnancy.
When she had her c section they told her she had a bicornuate (spelling?) uterus.
Baby was wedged in one side of the "heartshaped" top.
She was in terrible pain from 36 weeks (she's also small and slim) nobody knew what the pain was and she was basically dismissed

TheSerenDipitY · 26/04/2019 05:04

if you are at all worried call your midwife or maternity unit, or go see them, even though most of us have been pregnant we dont know anything about your pregnancy, as you are close you would be better off calling the experts, they can give you peace of mind in an informed way, please call her/him

ParmaHamAndMozzarella · 26/04/2019 05:11

If you are feeling pressure you could be in early labour. If it's as bad as you describe why not give them a ring see if you can go in to be checked? They can check you out and give you peace of mind it's nothing amiss even if you aren't actually in labour.

blackcat86 · 26/04/2019 05:29

I would go and get checked. In my case I had awful pain and barely slept before my c section at 38 weeks. It turned out that DD had flipped from head down and engaged to breach and her head was stuck under my ribs with her limbs flinging around across the other side. She was fine although they did have to wriggle her out a bit during the procedure.

TeddybearBaby · 26/04/2019 05:43

That sounds awful, poor thing! I remember discomfort but not pain how you describe. I think you need to get checked out..... Saturday is a million miles away when you’re in agony and can’t find any peace. You must be exhausted. Good luck 💐

Howridiculous1 · 26/04/2019 10:11

How are you now OP? I remember getting the sharp stabbing pains down below but not to the point it was keeping me awake or distressing me. I'd call the maternity unit and see if you can get checked over x

livingthegoodlife · 26/04/2019 10:35

My baby gave me bruises which were visible on the outside from her long legs curled around me and kicking my ribs.

Just keep going, not much longer. I really sympathise with you, it's do hard when it's uncomfortable.
