How to prove someone has sent WhatsApp messages from my phone?

Posting for traffic. Any tech experts out there? I strongly suspect that someone has got hold of my phone and accessed my WhatsApp messages and sent it to themselves in order to blackmail and harass me. Is there any possible way I can prove this? Is there a way of retrieving deleted messages/past activity on WhatsApp?

You can restore a certain amount of whatsapp deleted messages if they've automatically backed up, i can't remember how but have a google.
Think it might involve uninstalling and reinstalling app.

If you send a photo/screen shot on chat and delete it, it will still show in your 'media' for that contact - unless they have deleted it from there too! Click on their name on Whatsapp, then 'Media, Links and Docs'
Worth a try x

You can export chats to an email address, my ex did this on my phone and sent himself my messages.

Also they might have set your phone to back up messages to their email

Why don’t you have a password on your phone?

And the moral of this story folks, is to always have a password/lock on your phone!

Go into settings, chats, backup. See when the last backup was done and where it saved too.

WhatsApp is quite poor at getting audit history. If you ever change your phone you cant transfer the actual conversations only the groups
