To ask you for some holiday inspiration?

Its just me and my boyfriend. We have been together for almost 5 years. Travelled quite a bit together so far and looking for a new holiday destination for this summer for 2 weeks.
What we need:
Hot weather
Sea
Being able to visit lovely beaches for half of the holiday
Sightseeing, cultural things for the other half.

Any advice, ideas, experiences would be much appreciated.

Whitby.

Mauritius was gorgeous and a nice mix of amazing beaches and trips to national parks, rum distilleries, dolphin watching, water sports, did a week on the north west coast and a week on the south coast, hire a car and go exploring.

An old school friend of mine runs an eco friendly lodge guesthouse in Sumatra, at Bukit Lawang. They have guided treks through the jungle and the scenery and wildlife are amazing.

Sri Lanka is lovely but does currently have FO advice against travel.
Mexico has both beaches and culture, particularly if you split between Mexico City and Rivera Maya for example.

Hong Kong. Loads of amazing beaches, cheap ferry travel between the islands with an Octopus card. Hiking in New Territories, great food, cultural stuff, markets, horse racing in Happy Valley...
