But the first one must be:
Why doesn't the tattoo have its own little tattoo, and so on into infinity.

Well technically he can just add his wrinkles to the tattoo as and when they develop 😂

PleaseJustSayNo · 24/04/2019 20:39

But then, I suppose when the tattoo was done on the face, there was no tattoo on the face that was being tattooed so how could you put a tattoo on the tattoo face 🤔

VladmirsPoutine · 24/04/2019 20:40

Why though. I guess this is what they really meant by live and let live.

pigsDOfly · 24/04/2019 20:41

My first thought was: Christ, that must have hurt.

missbonita · 24/04/2019 20:41

@TatianaLarina, I like your thinking, one on each side evens up the insanity. Perfect.

I want chocolate now.

Ohyesiam · 24/04/2019 20:43

Ouch

missbonita · 24/04/2019 20:43

@PleaseJustSayNo that is such a good point, and no doubt what the esteemed gentlemen would have alerted me to. Bravo Grin

This is why I love MN. It answers all my problems.

Has he got a tiny back of his head tattooed on the back of his head ?

I hope so Grin

dustarr73 · 24/04/2019 20:45

He might as well had "I am a moron" tattooed across his forehead.

Thats next Grin

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 24/04/2019 20:46

My next question was is that orange top an American prison jumpsuit?

Jumpsuit? Boiler suit? Confused

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 24/04/2019 20:48

Has he got a tiny back of his head tattooed on the back of his head ?

Crying now.

thefirstmrsdewinter · 24/04/2019 20:51

Droste effect ooh I knew it as mise en abyme. Years of not knowing it had a name and now I find out it has two.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 24/04/2019 20:51

I suppose it saves having to ask him if he's a twat

missbonita · 24/04/2019 20:51

Wonder if he's got a tattoo of his knob tattooed on his knob

missbonita · 24/04/2019 20:56

The paucity of forehead is distressing, its like his eye is the tattoo-mans brain which is a truly mid blowing concept......

OP posts:
missbonita · 24/04/2019 21:00

@MrJollyLivesNextDoor YES! Every body part with it's own tiny labelling tattoo. Like a simplistic dewey decimal index for the body Grin

Droste effect. You learn something every day. Known as The Last Visible Dog thing in our house.

missbonita · 24/04/2019 21:25

The Last Visible Dog? Do tell @TinklyLittleLaugh?

OP posts:
TinklyLittleLaugh · 24/04/2019 22:11

Oh it’s a kids book, but kind of a philosophical one, The Mouse and His Child by Russell Hoban. The Last Visible Dog is a recurring motif and represents something deep and meaningful that I can’t quite remember Blush
