DP's friend has been here since early this afternoon, and still here now. They're talking very loudly in the living room, and this is a small house with thin walls so it's all I can hear, even in the bedroom.

There's no sign of him leaving in the near future. AIBU to want him to go home now? I know it's a bank holiday but I just want to relax now!

Do you have an MP3 player or tablet and headphones?

Troels · 19/04/2019 22:27

Just be rude. Wander through asnd ask "what time are you going home?"
My Dh would love me for it, but he doesn't much like visitors no matter who they are.

Send your dp a winking text that his df needs to get gone!!....

HomeMadeMadness · 19/04/2019 22:29

YANBU. Can you text DP and ask when he's leaving? Although if they don't see each other often I'd probably suck it up and curl up in bed with a tablet and some headphones.

GabsAlot · 19/04/2019 22:33

Why the wink?

dustarr73 · 19/04/2019 22:54

Why the wink?
Nudge,nudge.Wink,wink
Sex

sackrifice · 19/04/2019 23:11

Yes i guessed that. Why would she have to pretend she wanted sex to get her partner respect that she lives there too and she wants them to pipe down?

Provincialbelle · 19/04/2019 23:16

A touch of humour with the wink, surely harmless enough sackrifice?

sackrifice · 19/04/2019 23:18

Just weird that someone thinks she needs to offer sex just for some peace and quiet. Is it 'hilarious'? Is it 'harmless'?
