My daughter had similar - so red it almost looked like impetigo or something and in the same tiny patches (same place too actually, none on her body elsewhere only her legs and one tiny spot on one arm!) but when I took her to the GP prescribed a low dose cortisone cream and an emolient (Hydramol) and said it was eczema.

Sgkvfy234 · 19/04/2019 21:22

They don’t have the dot in the middle

Sorry the picture wasn’t there the first time.

Pop to a pharmacy tomorrow OP and ask advice. They don’t look like flea bites to me but could be wrong.

Cherrysoup · 19/04/2019 21:26

First, get a decent flyspray eg RIP from a decent pet shop and spray individual rooms, including all soft furnishings. Pay attention to the skirting boards. Close room (windows closed) for one hour then vacuum like a mad thing. Do this as early as you can cos the product stinks. Air room afterwards for as long as possible. You might have to re-treat, get 2 bottles.

Sgkvfy234 · 19/04/2019 21:31

Thank you I’ll do that and I’ll also take him to pharmacy tomorrow

The first picture look like ringworm. The others don't so I'm probably wrong.

if it is cat-fleas, then as well as treating the animals, you need to hoover voraciously. Preferably using an upright with beater to get the eggs up as well as the adults. They sit around in carpets until food walks by, then jump up and bite (usually) the ankles.

Keep hoovering once a day at least. There are sprays you can use on the carpet especially in places pets like to sleep. I'd close up the room after spraying and ventilate thoroughly the next morning.

Wash pet bedding.

The flea drops for cats are not the same drug as is used for dogs.

They can also live in clothes. Laundring or a tumble-drier on the hot setting will kill them. You don't have to re-wash before tumbling if they are already clean. I once got some in the sleeve of a jacket and I think they lasted for weeks.

For the bites you can use a cortisone cream which the pharmacist will have.

IIRC cat fleas don't thrive on humans, so they may be biting because they are very hungry. Sometimes they come in on second-hand or charity-shop clothes.
