DH keeping his friend's huge rusting BBQ in our small garden for 3 years

DH for sone reason has kept his friend's judge BBQ/fire pit in our small back yard since we moved in. It is 2 metres long, about 1 metre wide and 1.5m tall. On wheels. We live in a Victorian terrace with a small back yard and we're struggling for space. We don't use this monstrosity, as we have a fully functioning separate BBQ.

I have been asking DH for the past 2 years to return it to his friend. He said he'd do that after they'd fine a hog roast (this has never happened). I continue to ask him to get rid if it and he continues to say "Ill speak to X (friend) about it". We're struggling for space for a bike shed and this is infuriating me as this BBQ is taking up so much space.

So yet another summer approaching with the huge rusting eyesore taking pride of place in the back yard. Im tempted to tell DH that if he doesn't give me a date when it will be gone by, I'll take it to the tip. AIBU?

I'm glad you all see my point, DH acts like I'm being hugely unreasonable
