Could I be pregnant?!

Period two days late - normally very regular. Been trying for number 2 for 5 years unsuccessfully. Currently trying to lose weight in order to have private IVF. Took a clearblue digital this morning, pregnant 1-2!! Took the other from the same pack a couple of hours later, not pregnant 😟 anyone have any experience of this? Could it be I am pregnant but so early the later test was wrong? I know there’s nothing I can do either way and I’ll test again tomorrow, but this a new kind of hell 😕

def try a first response this eve if your oh can find one OP I've had positives in the evenimg even before period was due ... fingers crossed ..... and cross your legs the longer you can hold it the more concentrated it will be

Holding your wee won't make it more concentrated! You won't reabsorb the water once it's got to your bladder. (And if it refluxes back to your kidney you're in a different world of trouble!)

Morning wee is more concentrated because the kidneys slow their action overnight (it's controlled by a hormone - which is why you can't rush night dryness in children), so less water is excreted and so the concentration of HCG is higher then.

So holding your wee won't do anything than make you uncomfortable.

No first response in the supermarket 😕 he’s bringing clearblue. I’m so frustrated! Keep telling myself I wouldn’t just get a random positive for no reason surely?! I called my GP straight away after the positive as certain meds I need to change, and told two of my sisters. I wish I had kept my mouth shut now as feel I have tempted fate 😟

Took the not pregnant apart and this is what the strip looks like?! Was a couple of hours ago though?

My understanding with the digital is there's two strips inside, one blank and one with a control line. If you see an additional two lines (one of each) you're pregnant, but the result isn't strong enough yet to convert to a digital reading. Mine said not pregnant despite first response being a positive. I took it apart and had lines like your photos. Two days later the digital confirmed pregnant. It's looking good, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I have been pregnant many times (most didnt stick sadly) and I have never trusted the digital ones until I am at least a week late. They are so hit and miss. I personally rate the first response ones but any test that you have to read yourself is better than the digital ones imo.

It sounds (and looks) like you are pregnant to me. Pink dye tests are said to be more reliable than blue but that deconstructed test looks positive to me 🤞🤞🤞 for you
