To put my son in nursery for one day a week? Opinions?

I'm definitely going to put my son in to nursery for one day a week - has anyone else done this and what should I be aware of?

To clarify, he's been offered a space already for one day a week and she hasn't mentioned it being a problem. They're an excellent nursery too.

We sent our DD to nursery for 1 day per week from 1yr and it did take a little while to settle in but I don't think it would've made any difference having her in more days, she was just at a clingy stage. She's 2 now and still goes for 1 day, which will increase to 3 days once she's 3. We had to move her to a better nursery 6 months in and she settled very quickly in the new place. 1 day is fine! Out DD loves nursery now.
