To think Chewing Gum should be banned?

Not just for the masses of it glued to the pavements (& everywhere else) but the bloody noise!
Currently in a waiting room in a Solicitor's office and there's a man chewing gum - Slop slop slop slop slop slop - everyone keeps looking at him in the hope he'll take the hint!

Don't most people chew gum after meals or coffee, to freshen their breath? I do and so do most of my colleagues! It's like cleaning your mouth in between brushing!

There’s nothing remotely wrong with gum itself, it’s the way disgusting individuals ‘dispose ‘ of it after they’ve finished chewing.
The people who will drop it on the pavement are the same ignorant holes who will happily leave a fag end, a crisp packet or a dog turd.
As for those who stick it under desks at school (I KNOW it was YOU Helena Cartwright) so that you stand up after a biology lesson to find shit tonnes of the stuff all over your skirt..............well
