So I have another job interview - no.4 - and it's in liverpool, but the flights have just doubled - I'm an idiot I duuno why I didnt just buy them last week when I found out. Thing is, should I still go. I have to pay for them myself. It will cost about 270 euro to go and come back, including parking & a taxi. The thing is, I'm not even sure about liverpool. Would you move there. I have a teen daughter into drama/musical theatre, and a budding footballer 10 year old ds. WWYD. Would you go.

Ooh I wouldn't risk the Manchester flight. Two hours won't be enough even if the interview location is near Lime Street. Pay the extra to fly into Liverpool- maybe see if the company would assist with expenses? I used to work in Pharmaceutical and scientific recruitment and they would often pay for Irish candidates- there is a lot of medical and pharma companies around Liverpool.

I'm biased being a Manc- but for kids interested in Sport and the arts you couldn't really chose a more appropriate relocation. Plus house prices are still affordable if you avoid the posh villages on the Wirral.

Liverpool has some awesome architecture and you are only a short drive into Cheshire or North Wales countryside

There are some lovely areas on the Wirral and all over Merseyside to live in. Shopping is great. Most importantly, the opportunities for Musical Theatre and Football are genuinely incredible.
