Meeting with lecturer during Easter break

Just a question as I'm thinking an employee is trying to get away from a late finish shift tomorrow night (coincidence as the new Got starts...), she claims a lecturer contacted her today to reschedule an impromptu meeting for tomorrow night at 6.30pm. I've never heard of such a thing, why would a lecturer meet someone on their Easter break and reschedule a day before, on a Sunday as well?
I went to uni in a different country so any highlights on this would be much appreciated.

University holidays for staff doesn't start until Thursday here (and finishes Tuesday following) anything extra is annual leave

Another academic here...We get good Friday and Easter Mon, the Tuesday as a customary day and that's it. I often answer student's emails at weekends and meet them for example, to supervise dissertations or research in the evenings.

Seeing as I've been in work over the last week and colleagues have done both Saturday and today, as they will next week for teaching/revision/intervention merely at GCSE - and frequently provide support online on Sundays/evenings, it would surprise me more if University staff didn't do similar with adults.

Next weekend, though, is sacrosanct. Nobody is bothering me until Tuesday morning.
