To think you can't have 2 sets of noise in one space?

I'm a bit funny about noise anyway so this could be a thing that doesn't bother normal people but AIBU to be really bothered by DH coming into a room I'm already listening to or watching something in and turning on a podcast/playing games/watching something on YouTube without headphones? I don't mean that he has to be silent or any shit like that, he has as much right to make noise as me, but I would go into another room or use earphones if I wanted to listen to something while he was knocking 7 bells out of everyone on Red Dead Redemption. In a previous relationship my ex would just pick up a guitar and start practicing in a room I was already in and that too made me reallllly stabby (but didn't seem to bother his parents if he did it in their place). So maybe I am just weird that way and people can filter out 'extra' noise?

Yes, I often consider buying ear plugs to wear in the evening to block out all the noise in our little house. No one else seems bothered by it but it makes me extremely irritable.

OMG, I have one of these! I was sitting in the back room yesterday, reading and listening to music and he comes in after shopping and starts watching a very noisy film in the front room AND left the middle door open
