An acquaintance who is Tropic "ambassador" (translation: sales bot) has just posted this sexist bullshit on her Facebook page - it's meant to be a brand that "empowers women" - please help me think about clever replies (or shall I just comment "fuck off"?):

#Attention all males!!#

So if your Mrs is out like me she will say oh don't bother with an Easter Egg for me babe i'm on a diet......

  1. In the back of her mind she knows if she got one she would eat it in a oner and then feel guilty cause the holiday is looming 👙 &
  1. It's a Test!! "Don't get me out I'm not bothered" actually means you better bloody had mr!

So why not totally surprise her and buy something amazing from Tropic that's not gonna cause a meltdown. It will last way longer than that easter egg will believe me! 😂

Message me for some ideas that aren't gonna break the bank.

No faster way to lose friends than to start MLM-ing! Nasty business.
This lady has been well and truly turned! Bring me all the eggs please. I choose my own skincare.

"Would you put that in English please, I can't speak Shite".

SunnyCoco · 12/04/2019 08:32

There's a brilliant podcast called The Dream which looks in depth at MLMs

I AM on a diet (lost 4st in the past year), and I WILL be really annoyed if my husband spoils my plans for shifting another 2st.

Lalliella · 12/04/2019 08:43

Comment “Blimey! I’ve never seen so much stereotyping in one post! Are you trying to be ironic?”

RedForShort · 12/04/2019 08:47

Me too thecatsthecats (though I've put weight on not lost 4st (well done you) so now need to lose 2st. I do not need to be given chocolate!!!!! (No matter how well intended.)

Pretty sure there are women who say get nothing then sulk when they get nothing though. There's men too no doubt. But I'm fairly sure if you're married to your 'Mrs' you'd know what they were like.

...depressing regressive bullshit that women lie about wanting nothing... ...then throw tantrums if they don't get presents. No women are like this!!!

Absolute bollocks. There are so many threads on MN wailing about birthday/Christmas/Mothers' Day presents, either a lack of or insufficient thought and effort.

Usuallyinthemiddle · 12/04/2019 08:53

Milk that is also true! 😁
