I'm not sure what Joe Soap can glean from watching this?

It's like a picture of nothingness that we're supposed to be in awe of. You can't picture it, because it's so fucking dense, that light can't emit etc.
I have no idea what seeing a picture of a glowing anus is going to add to my life.

Generally I am bored rigid by space, black holes included, but then I see something like this (taken from Hubble I think).

I sometimes have a glowing anus after a curry.

I can’t say “I love space” but I’m intrigued and I love nothing more than a clear night without light pollution to look at the sky, pick out planets and watch for satellites (which I was once convinced where ufos).

I'm so proud of my son, who has just started doing astronomy at college. I had a call from the headmaster to tell me that he's just taking up space.
