work I go,then back to chuck a pizza in the oven and make a salad for the kids,a quick spruce up then off out for dinner, courtesy of eldest daughter as a belated mother's day treat. What are your plans for the day? I shall look forward to reading what antics you are getting/have got up to later! Wink

Taking my boys to their self defence grading later. Currently lounging in PJs thinking about all the chores I should be doing.

Meal out with close family thinking about my lovely father who died 6 years ago - I desperately wish he was still here to catch up on what his fabulous grandchildren have been doing.

I m at work too but only for an hour or so then we are going to our local theme park for the day and picking my mum up from the train station as she is coming to stay for a few days.

Currently lying in a hotel room bed and starting to feel the effects of too much wine from last night...

Putting off taking the kids to breakfast until the very last minute.

Had touristy plans for today before heading home but think they may be scrapped!

I have to drive home today with dd and ddog. Dh is supposed to be home tonight but his flights have been delayed and I don't know what his new connecting flight is or what time he will be home...!

Stayed with a (child free) friend last night and had some drinks before going to bed, now I've been up with DS trying to keep him quiet with CBeebies since 7.30 (and to find where she keeps the teabags!) until she surfaces.

Later her mum is coming over which will be lovely (I've known her and her mum for 20+ years) and then we'll drive home, probs via the services for dinner. DS needs a bath (no bath here only shower) and I'll try and put him to bed early so I can log in to work until my DH gets in from work, then we'll go to bed and start the week over!

Bed I go, finished nightshift at 7:45, home for 8:15, had a cuppa and breakfast and now I'm kicking the kids out the bed to sleep Grin

Lazy morning with DS as DH in work, going to walk ( DS on his balance bike) the dog in a bit to the bakery and pick up a cake, then home and play with the play doh, have lunch, maybe do some painting or play trains/dinosaurs then watch a film and eat our cake.
