Sat in hospital room feeling sick with fear. The procedure scares me having a camera down my throat plus obviously scared of what they may find.
Has anyone else had one?

hi everyone & many thanks for your responses. they really helped. to summary: it wasn't too bad. It was over quickly as i had been told. I did gag through it a lot though but hey ho. they had trouble finding a working vein in my left hand and gave up eventually. the good news was that the consultant said she couldn't see anything obvious. she is doing biopsies so still nervous + i have a ct scan booked in for early next week. i had something very similar a year ago if not exactly the same whereby i felt really unwell, was off my food and if i ate was full immediately (gp did a blood test for ovaries, all seemed ok + normal bloods were ok & not anemic ), bloating didn't feel in the womb area but centrally high up right below the rib cage, really uncomfortable like severe trapped wind. bowel movements aren't good but won't go into detail (although no blood that i can see that's obvious), either very loose or very pale/constipated or just plain 'weird'. it lasted a month or so then went, was fine for the rest of the year. am hoping for something like a virus/infection sort of thing?
thanks again everyone
