A cat still has wild instincts a dog doesnt....hence why cats roam and hunt.... same as a bloody budgie, you keep it in a cage otherwise it's natural instincts will kick in and fly off, then it will probably get eaten by a cat.... that's nature....

What a load of crap. Dogs have lost their wild instinct. Go tell that to the dogs being fed on whole prey model. They all still go straight for for the offal as the most nutritious part for them, then will de feather chickens etc. A lot of dogs will still chase and try to catch rabbits/cats, even sheep to kill and eat because you know nature. We just don’t allow them to behave in a natural way.

When that dog catches your cat in its garden and kills it that’s because.... natural instinct. What it would do in the wild.

I'm not getting your drift here. A cat that is allowed to roam (and shit in its neighbours garden, because it's a free spirit and the owner is not responsible for the fucking pet S/He chose to have... ) is not the same as a budgie who is expected to live it's life in an indoor cage or be freed to be eaten alive by predators.. ..what am I missing? 🤔

A dog hasnt lost his natural instinct it's been bred out of them, your general domestic dog wont go eat you while your asleep but a wild one would, go get one from the safari park and domesticate it, good luck because it's not there nature..... a cat is naturally going to roam it's in there nature same as a budgie is going to fly as it's in there nature... that's the point..... no one is ever going to change the nature of a cat so it's hardly worth the moaning.... ita a cat they roam and sht in your garden same as birds foxes digging holes whatever.... your never going to rationalise with a cat about the politeness of not doing its business where it wants, so I dont see the point in the moaning

And dogs do hunt rabbits because they've been bred to do so, my bill has a working dog she will kill a cat because it's in her nature to hunt... that's what she was bred for.... my dog who wasnt bred for that trys to breed with the neighbours cats.....
