Golden retrievers, beagles, Bernese Mountain dogs..

The above if I had to choose but I love ALL dogs. We’re overseas where animals are frequently mistreated and abandoned so, if we were to get more dogs in the future then they would be rescues and most likely not pedigree...

My Welshie, absolutely lovely dog but god he was a sod ,nicknamed Houdini & everyone knew him in our area . Broke our hearts when he died at just 2 1/2 .

Labrador retriever or Golden retriever

My dog is a Heinz 57. I have no idea what mix he is, but he has some Jack Russell (but longer legs) and god knows what else. But he is the most grateful, happiest and friendliest dog I ever met. I rescued him at 3 months, he hasn't left my side since.

If I was to get a breed it would be a whippet!

I have a westie and a westie/crocker cross who are absolutely fab but I still hanker after an Irish wolfhound.

Border collie. (Taliesin is nearly 5!months old)
And a Labrador/Rottweiler cross (Ruby was absolutely wonderful, and as thick as 2 short planks)

Dachshund, they have character like no other. I can't imagine owning any other kind of dog now even though I've always had working/gundogs

Newfoundlands. Big calm shaggy bear dogs. (But not calm as puppies, not at all.)

I have a chihuahua and live him, but i would love a saluki or a Samoyed they are so beautiful

Spaniels. The Springery kind.

Whippets are the only dogs for me. Fast and beautiful but also cuddly and affectionate. A bonus is no doggy smell and very clean.

Tbh, I blooming love all dogs! But mine has to be my own - the loveable Leonberger 💕

Rhodesian Ridgebacks; they're a really good "fit" for me.

I like any dog that looks and can behave like a dog; nothing that can't breathe, see, run etc properly as it breaks my heart. Short haired and athletic is my preference (good running buddies) and I have a real weakness for fast, pointy ones!!

My girls

I've always adored Boxers. When my furry soul mate was PTS 3 weeks ago I planned to get a Boxer as my next dog eventually.
But fate intervened and another dog needed revoking. She is a Shih Tzu mix. I've never been a small dog person tbh. But Lady is beyond cute, extremely loving. Always full of happiness and so soft and fluffy.

Thanks Grouchy she is a llittle bundle of joy. She hasnt replaced Jess. But she is making my house a home again and we are in love already
