Is that weird? I love seeing what other people eat and buy Grin
We're due a top up shop tomorrow so please excuse the smaller amount of stock!

(The chocolate cake is DP's though he's decided it's not very nice).

@Hubblebubbletripletrouble we do like our milk Grin 2 of those milks will definitely be used but I'm unsure whether the third will get wasted, only time will tell haha!

coffeecoffeecofffee · 29/03/2019 00:07

@SausageSimon I do exactly the same with bread- especially since the boyfriend and I like different types (me wholemeal & him white) we have to freeze it otherwise it's off in 2 days Grin

We keep pitta breads & wraps out though as we both use those.

This thread is a lot more interesting than I was expecting! The fridge came with an egg holder so eggs should definitely be in the fridge Grin
The abundance of babybel are for 4 year old DS who basically lives on them.

Here's one I prepared earlier (someone in my mum group facebook group asked to see everyone's fridges too - are you the same person? Grin )

Natsku · 29/03/2019 08:33

Well that just picture just made me realise that I did still have a carton of vanilla sauce in the fridge that I was looking for the other day but it's out of date now :(

SleepingSloth · 29/03/2019 08:42

This thread is strangely very interesting. 😂

KittyMcKitty Your picture made me both smile and feel sad. We had to have our 19 year old cat put to sleep very recently, but when he was still here, whenever we opened the fridge, he would be right in there after some ham or chicken.

BettyBigBollocks · 29/03/2019 08:44

Genuinely astounded at the amount of people with eggs in their fridge, they definitely don’t belong in there!

My fridge is a big unorganised mess, I’ll take photos when I’m home to set you all on edge!

missmouse101 · 29/03/2019 08:52

Here is mine. Had an Asda delivery last night!

My fridge seemingly needs replacing as the bastard self defrosts every other day flooding the floor... any recommendations for good (slim) fridges much appreciated!

WILL YOU ALL GET YOUR EGGS, POTATOES, ORANGES ETC OUT OF THE FRIDGE.

You're giving me rage.

And FYI this I keep my eggs in fridge, that keeps em fresh is like saying you keep biscuits in the fridge to keep them fresh. There's nothing in them to keep fresh!

None of these things are in fridges in supermarkets where they live for days/weeks at a time!

FYI lighthearted, I'm not actually mad at you all, just your fridges.

Shoxfordian · 29/03/2019 09:00

I don't keep eggs in the fridge though Grin

KittyMcKitty · 29/03/2019 09:10

WILL YOU ALL GET YOUR EGGS, POTATOES, ORANGES ETC OUT OF THE FRIDGE.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record potatoes can poison you if kept in fridge. Yes really! See link I posted earlier. Eggs can be kept in fridge but not in door as fluctuations in temp encourage growth of bacteria or something.

Am in awe of those of you with compact fridges - how do you manage to get everything in? I’m embarrassed to say in addition to our kitchen fridge we have another fridge freezer in the garage which mainly has booze in but also acts as overflow fridge for parties etc.

SleepingSloth sorry about your kitty but what a great age! Ours is obsessed with both the fridge and larder - she’s convinced that one day she’s going to find the most exciting thing ever in them!

MaHeidsGouping · 29/03/2019 09:14

I do my weekly shop on Mondays so there isn't much actual food, mainly snacks and water Grin
