To do this to mil

AIBU to want to leave a copy of Susan Forwards toxic in laws out in full display for my toxic mil to see next time she visits? I have been going low contact for a few months after years of putting up with her, and after a month she then confronted my DH about my 'behaviour' and that he needs to have a word with me about it. I continued to go low contact so she is giving my DH a mixture of silent treatment and passive aggressiveness. Feel bad for my dh but hopefully it will help him relise what his mother is like.

Nooo, don't! If you do leave it out and she has the wherewithall to take a hint and read up about it, she will see and recognize all the wonderful tactics Forward recommends for managing her toxic behaviour. These things only work when the other party doesn't know when, or how, they are being managed!

Wrap it up and give it to her for a Mother's Day present Grin

Don't do it. You'll only give her more power. The only wY to win is not to care.
