I’ll start: this week DP and I both found full time jobs after a long bout of unemployment. We’re finally back on track.

I finally have an appointment with a rheumatology consultant re my debilitating psoriatic arthritis. Currently in the waiting room, never been so excited to be in hospital!

My DD is being induced with her baby tomorrow.... grandchild no 4.

I literally cannot wait for baby snuggles.

Dh is getting a pay rise and it’ll just mean we can save up for a little holiday this year. It’s a nice boost for us all.

My friend has had a shit time over the last year or so (knob head ex). I've helped her and her son move, lent her money, been there for her. She's got new chap, new job, her son's got a new job and things are turning a corner. She took me to lunch the other day, paid for all of it as a thanks for the times I've treated her and repaid some of the money she owed me. (Wasn't expecting that, told her to sort herself out before paying me, I'm lucky enough that I'm not sat here waiting for it). She wanted to pay me for her self esteem, so who am I to argue? Go her!
Oh and my dh was head hunted by his previous employer, he loved that job but there was a horrible bloke in charge so he had to leave. Horrible bloke has now been sacked, so he's going back next month.

We've just booked a 6 night In break. Nowhere thrilling but I can't wait! Not been away since Sept 2017 and that was to a wedding so was quite hard work even then. I've already made lists and everything!

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and started bleeding Sunday night and yesterday. But we had an early scan and all is fine and they found a heartbeat. I couldn't believe it!

My contract at work has been extended for a year with a lovely accompanying letter about how they appreciate everything I've done in the last 9months. It's so nice to feel valued and wanted.

My wonderful sister got a new job. She had to move cross country during maternity leave due to her utterly vile ex and this had been a big worry for her and her confidence had taken a knock. I’m bursting with pride.

My new jeans are ready for collection from the PO and I am really excited about it. And my DH finally got a date through for his final exam. Oh and I'm excited about going for a run in the sunshine after work.

I won some project funding this month that's very competitive and difficult to get :)

My friend is happily dating again following an acrimonious divorce.

Spring is coming and the cherry blossom, forsythia and daffodils are blooming everywhere. I'm loving the lighter evenings and looking forward to the return of the swallows. Not an autumn person particularly; spring is my season of joy!

One of my friends who has been TTC for over 4 years and had 2 failed rounds of IVF has found out her last round of IVF has worked and she is pregnant. I cried with happiness when she told me. Best news ever!
