it hit me yesterday when ds [18] said for the first time 'won't be in 'til late, going with a mate to the pub'. my sensible lad is all grown up, it seems like 5 minutes ago he was a baby and where does the time go ??

Yes! My boy is 17 and I’ve been supporting him at many hospital appointments over the years, which involves travelling to a city a couple of hours away. At the last one he said he wanted to go into consultation on his own. I was proud and felt redundant at the same time!

Youngest DD tried on her prom dress and looked like some kind of goddess. Eldest has a job, car and boyfriend. Where did my babies go?
It's bittersweet, so proud and excited for them but it's also a bit emotional.
