My MIL, RIP, used to knit those awful Jean Green-something dolls. They clustered around a coffee table, in the living room, looking at you.

What I haven't seen for decades is one of those fake Sindy dolls from the market with a crocheted skirt to cover the toilet roll. I think it was to disguise the fact you used the toilet possibly.

So you have the skill to crochet at a decent level and this is what you end up making?!

Is this the doll the crafter planned on giving to a kid, but then decided they don't want to be responsible for the nightmares.
