I don't know if IABU as this is my first child but today/tonight I've just felt "different" in the sense that I feel I will give birth soon Confused

Never have I felt like this in pregnancy but today I've woken up and felt strange. Physically as well.

I've had odd twinges here and there all day on and off and my back has been incredibly sore. I can also barely walk, I don't know if baby's head is in pelvis or not? I haven't had a bloody show or any type of loss of mucus or anything though.

I'm so new to all of this and I just don't know what's going on but I feel so weird.

AIBU?

I felt uncontrollable irritability every time, then gave birth the next day.

I had uncontrollable irritability through the whole of the third trimester 🙈😂

Hi mcjx! I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and feel like the arrival won't be too far away.

In my last pregnancy I had period pains for about a week and a half. The day before my waters broke I was at the hospital for a scan and asked them to do an internal to check if there was any progress but they said they didn't want to trigger anything. The next day I was visiting family and my waters broke Grin I was 37+3

I second getting a mini bag packed. It'll make you feel better ! Also I never cherished the maternity leave without baby last time. I was desperate to meet him and finished work at 36 weeks so only just had over a week and that was spent getting the bag packed, house ready etc. I never just 'chilled'. This time I finished work at 33 weeks but again I've been really busy. Jus this morning I thought I'm
Going to read a book before I get on with stuff. The toddler goes to nursery 3 days and I've been trying to cram as many jobs/ chores in as possible. The days with the toddler are really really exhausting now and literally counting down the minutes to bedtime.

Honestly try and enjoy the peace! You won't ever get this time again
